I just had this conversation yesterday with my family member! Moorbey, is the black race doomed into perpetual mental slavery? Are the teachings of Garvey, King, Diop and X all for naught? When did we lay down and submit? You know the one thing I preach over and over to my folks on my blog?

There are days I feel like black folks just give a shit about what we’re saying. All they seem to be happy with is getting scraps off the master’s table. And if you tell them there’s a feast waiting for them if they try harder and resist these temptations, they get angry! As if you’re taking away their simple delights.
I had a black woman tell me to leave her alone when I tried to talk to her about what’s coming for us Africans. I felt so defeated. Moorbey, TV is the devil. I say it over and over again. If more black folks stopped watching Lil Wayne and Kanye West act like fools and tried to understand Neely Fuller and Professor Ani, they’d be better off.
