An interview with Donna Murch, Associate Professor of History at Rutgers University about her Concordia University talk entitled “A Time before Crack: The Destruction of SCBPP [Southern California chapter of the Black. Panther Party] and the Transformation of Black Youth Culture in Los Angeles.” The interview was done by Professor Elena Razlogova and broadcast November 23 on CKUT 90.3 FM Radio for the O Stories – Oral History on the Radio program, produced by the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling.
Sounds interesting. Is there information? A link?
The title is a misnomer. The interviewer gives greater insight than does Ms. Murch, who focuses on her contacts and their credentials and education status. This is more of a teaser to sell her book. There’s little to learn here. I appreciate your efforts to enlighten. However, a more appropriate title could have saved me a precious 20 minutes of my time. Thank you.
