This Wednesday June 14, 2017 will mark five years since NYPD Detective Philip Atkins gunned down unarmed Shantel Davis. Atkins has never never been held accountable. And, in spite of her requests for answers, the Brooklyn District Attorneys Office
still has not informed Natasha Duncan – Shantel’s sister – of the status of their investigation into Shantel’s death.
In the midst of this trauma, Natasha has become a police accountability movement leader who is always on the front lines
of struggles for justice for police violence victims, was one of the families who won an executive order for a special prosecutor
for police killings in 2015, and continues to lift up her sister’s name and memory.
Please join the Justice Committee in supporting Natasha and her family in demanding justice for #ShantelDavis on Wednesday. June 14, 2017.
